• Indications

  • Treatment of edema (acute or chronic).
  • Treatment of lymphedema
  • Chronic venous insufficiency (as an alternative to compression stockings).
  • Following sclerotherapy or varicose vein surgery.
  • Treatment of venous ulcers (with ABI > 0.8 or under close medical supervision for an ABI between 0.5 and 0.8).
  • Symptomatic treatment of deep or superficial acute venous thrombosis.
  • Prevention of post-thrombotic syndrome:
    alternative to compression stockings for at-risk patients;
  • Alternative to compression stockings for the treatment of edema of the legs or swelling during pregnancy.
  • Treatment of symptoms related to soft tissue injuries.

• Contraindications

  • Do not use in the event of known allergy to any of the components.
  • PAD (peripheral artery disease) with an ABI < 0.6.
  • Skin wounds, abscess, infected skin conditions of a limb concerned.
  • Advanced diabetic microangiopathy (if pressure > 30 mmHg)
  • Decompensated heart failure.
  • Phlegmasia cerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression) of a limb concerned
  • Extra-anatomic bypass.
  • Septic thrombosis of a limb concerned.
  • Severe peripheral neuropathy.
