Detailed description

Cicatrex Long Sleeve is specifically designed to support the treatment and management of major burns, hypertrophic scars, keloids, and various lymphological conditions3. 

It is made from Cicatrex Nature fabric, which incorporates natural fibers to ensure good skin tolerance, breathability, and softness4. 
The Sleevelest Vest is suitable for postsurgical recovery, helping to minimize scar formation and improve skin health1,2. 
This product is also available in a made-to-measure version to ensure adaptation for all patients.

Specifications

  • Treatment of burns (thermal, chemical or electrical)
    Prevention of functional or unsightly complications of scars (keloids, hypertrophy, bands)
    Support of skin grafts Treatment of acute/postoperative (e.g. breast surgery) or chronic (e.g. lymphedema) edema
    Treatment of symptoms and/or disorders related to EhlersDanlos syndrome: joint pain, dislocations, joint subluxations, motor instability (only for models related to this indication)
    Prevention of peripheral neuropathies of the extremities, induced by chemotherapy (only for hand gloves and socks)

  • Do not use in case of major dermatological conditions on an affected limb. 
    Do not use in the event of known allergy to any of the components. 
    Do not use in case of severe peripheral neuropathy of the affected limb. 
    Do not use in the event of septic thrombosis. 
    Do not use in the event of phlegmasia cerulea dolens (painful blue edema with arterial compression) of the affected limb.
    Do not use in case of lower limb peripheral arterial disease (PAD) with ankle brachial index (ABPI) < 0.6.
    Do not use in the event of decompensated heart failure.
    Do not use in case of extraanatomical bypass of the affected limb.
    Do not use in case of brachial plexus pathology. 
    Do not use in case of vascularity of the extremities.
