Detailed description
The MOBIDERM® made to measure range of mobilizing and compressive garments are designed to mobilize edematous or indurated subcutaneous tissues.
They are intended for the treatment of acute or chronic edema management (e.g lymphedema during the maintenance phase for day at rest and night to maintain the volume reduction).
The range is recommended for patients presenting:
• Moderate to severe lymphedema
• Non-regular limb shape
• Out of standard sizes
• Stable lymphedema volume
The Mobiderm® made-to-measure patient garments are available in multiple models:
• For upper limb: armsleeve, armsleeve with mitten and without thumb or armsleeve with mitten and thumb.
• For lower limb: below-knee or thigh-high.
Mechanism of action:
The garments include Mobiderm® technology, made up of foam blocks encased between two non-woven bandages. Due to the difference in pressure created between the support area of the blocks and their surrounding area, it promotes the flow
of lymphatic fluid and optimizes the drainage efficacy(1) through micro-massages.
