Frequently asked questions about SpryStep® Max
  • SpryStep® Max assists with weak dorsiflexors, knee instability, excessive knee flexion, and quadricep weakness. This is possible thanks to the anterior composite structure that supports and guides the knee towards extension, helps weakened plantar flexors for propulsion and maintains the knee during stance phase. A proper material selection provides rigidity to the structure but also flexibility to the sole. This offers a great stability while allowing the gait cycle. Lightweight composite structure also participate to gait optimization.
  • "Yes, SpryStep® Max is designed to fit comfortably into most shoes, allowing you to maintain your usual footwear. We recommend wearing shoes which combine the following features: Reasonably strong heel cup stiffeners within the shoe: the back height of the shoe upper should be high enough to fully encapsulate the foot and the orthosis
  • Yes, it can be used with your existing insoles for added comfort. Please take care to put your existing insole above the orthosis.
  • Yes, the forefoot section of the orthosis can be trimmed to ensure a perfect fit for your foot size and shape. Strap can also be trimmed to ensure a quick closing by the patient. Be careful, it is not possible to heat-molded SpryStep® Original.
  • It is possible to order separately a spare-part kit with Pads & Strap.
