Frequently asked questions about SpryStep® One
  • SpryStep® One is designed to assist individuals with foot drop syndrome, weak dorsiflexors, mild knee instability, providing support to the foot and ankle to improve walking ability. It could be conditions like stroke, multiple sclerosis, and biomechanical deficits of neurological, traumatic or muscular origin. Its single size design and focus on simplicity make it an easy-to-fit and quick to adjust solution particularly interesting for conditions requiring an early and quick management of the gait impairment. It makes it also very conveninent in challenging environement where a workshop is not available. The orthosis features a posterior spiral strut that amplifies energy return, making each step more efficient and reducing fatigue. Material selection and lightweight composite structure participate to gait optimization.
  • "Yes, SpryStep® One is designed to fit comfortably into most shoes, allowing you to maintain your usual footwear. We recommend wearing shoes which combine the following features: - Reasonably strong heel cup stiffeners within the shoe: the back height of the shoe upper should be high enough to fully encapsulate the foot and the orthosis
  • Yes, it can be used with your existing insoles for added comfort. Please take care to put your existing insole above the orthosis.
  • Yes, the forefoot section of the orthosis can be trimmed to ensure an anatomical fit for your foot size and shape. Strap can also be trimmed to ensure a quick closing by the patient. Be careful, it is not possible to heat-molded SpryStep® One.
  • It is possible to order separately a spare-part kit with Pads & Strap.
