Detailed description

LombaSkin lumbar belt by Thuasne® is designed to provide relief from low back pain by supporting the spine and increasing intra-abdominal pressure, which reduces the load on the intervertebral discs. 
This innovative belt features a "M-shaped" back panel with four conformable dorsal metallic stays, designed to provide support and stability.


LombaSkin allows an adaptability1 to the patient's body shape. The 1/3 - 2/3 design concept allows partial mobility of the lower external stays, enabling the belt to conform to the body during movement. 
This adaptability helps to provide support and comfort, making it suitable for extended wear.
LombaSkin is designed with a low profile, featuring thin, seamless, and edgeless finishes that make it suitable for wearing directly on bare skin. 
The belt is crafted from Thuasne's Combitex® fabric, which is both breathable2 and soft3, allowing moisture evacuation and quick drying. 
 

The anatomical design of the LombaSkin avoids pressure on the hips and ribs, helping to provide comfort4. 
Additionally, the asymmetrically-shaped abdominal panels with tightening indicators allow for a wide range of adjustments to meet individual patient needs.

LombaSkin is available in two heights, 21 cm and 26 cm, to accommodate different body types and preferences. 
It is also machine washable at 30°C, making it easy to maintain.

  • Non-specific low back pain (acute, subacute and chronic phases). 
    Prevention of recurrent low back pain in combination with return to activity and/or therapeutic information.
    Spinal stenosis.
    Spine stability.
    Resumption of activity

  • Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin.
    Do not use in the event of known allergy to any of the components.
    Do not use on pregnant women.
    Do not use in the event of a hiatus hernia.
    Do not use in the event of bone cancer with spinal metastases.
    Do not use in the event of circulatory, pulmonary or cardiovascular problems in patients for whom an increase in arterial blood pressure is not recommended.
