Detailed description

The Cicatrex lymphedema sleeve provides targeted compression to manage swelling and improve lymphatic circulation in the arm1,2
Designed with Cicatrex Skin quality, which is distinguished by its fine, smooth and lightweight mesh, the garment is both elastic and easy to care for3
The sleeve is easy to wear4, allowing users to continue their daily routines without interruption. Its design supports the natural movement of the arm, making it a practical solution for the longterm management of lymphedema.

This product is also available in a made-to-measure version to ensure adaptation for all patients.

Care instructions: 

  • Always wash Cicatrex by hand, as often as you wish, with soap or a product designed for delicate fabrics. 
  • Do not add bleach or stain remover. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out excess water without twisting.
  • Dry flat, away from any direct heat source (do not dry on a radiator for example).
  • Do not iron

Specifications

  • Treatment of burns (thermal, chemical or electrical)
    Prevention of functional or unsightly complications of scars (keloids, hypertrophy, bands)
    Support of skin grafts Treatment of acute/postoperative (e.g. breast surgery) or chronic (e.g. lymphedema) edema
    Treatment of symptoms and/or disorders related to EhlersDanlos syndrome: joint pain, dislocations, joint subluxations, motor instability (only for models related to this indication)
    Prevention of peripheral neuropathies of the extremities, induced by chemotherapy (only for hand gloves and socks)

  • Do not use in case of major dermatological conditions on an affected limb. 
    Do not use in the event of known allergy to any of the components. 
    Do not use in case of severe peripheral neuropathy of the affected limb. 
    Do not use in the event of septic thrombosis. 
    Do not use in the event of phlegmasia cerulea dolens (painful blue edema with arterial compression) of the affected limb.
    Do not use in case of brachial plexus pathology. 
    Do not use in case of vascularity of the extremities.
