Properties

Like the symmetrical version, but:

• Lateral prolongation to compensate for tissue deficits under the armpit.
• Slight hollow on the underside for optimal care of bulging scars or fresh surgical fields.
• Wide, lateral protrusion guarantees non-slip hold in the bra.
• Broadly shaped underside edge: supports the epithesis on the body and ensures its hold when in direct contact with the skin.
• Flat, natural transition at the strap base and in the armpit.
• Flat upper chest, especially in the A cup.

Indications

• After breast surgery (mastectomy, breast-conserving surgery, breast reconstruction) and after full healing of the surgical wound and completed radiation therapy, Silima^® breast protheses and Silima^® compensation protheses will give you a natural, cosmetically and visually harmonious appearance as well as corresponding weight compensation.
• Design and size depend on anatomical conditions.
• Consistency, elasticity and behaviour in motion are very silimar to the characteristics of the natural breast.
• All materials used have been tested for skin tolerance.
